India gold demand to rise to 1200 tons per annum by 2020
There seems to be no respite for India’s insatiable demand for the yellow metal despite rise in prices and annual demand is set to rise to 1200 tons by 2020 according to a report by World Gold Council. In 2010 India’s gold consumption reached 963.1 tonnes.
