US Mint Raises Prices on 2011 Gold Coins
Prices are higher for numismatic 2011 gold coins from the United States Mint. On Wednesday, January 11, the Mint raised prices on its series of collector coins as gold has been on a steady climb in recent days.
The United States Mint had reduced prices on gold coins by two levels back on December 21 when the precious metal tumbled to within $1,550.00 and $1,599.99 an ounce, one of the ranges used in setting coin prices. But gold moved firmly back above $1,600 an ounce, which kicked off the following increases in coin prices.(…)
