US Mint Sales: Rutherford B. Hayes $1 Coin Rolls Debut
Two new products appeared for the first time on the latest weekly United States Mint sales chart, and they were the Rutherford B. Hayes $1 coin rolls. Combined, the rolls totaled 38,981 and broken out the Philadelphia rolls (P) beat the Denver rolls (D) 19,574 to 19,170.
The Hayes $1 coin is the third of the 2011 Presidential dollars to launch this year. Their debuting numbers came in behind the Ulysses S. Grant $1 coins, which started in May with 40,199, split out to 20,174 (P) rolls and 19,945 (D) rolls, and also the Andrew Johnson coins that topped both dollars with their 45,734 cumulative sales in February.
