US Mint Sales: Yosemite 5 Oz Silver Coins Debut Strong, Silver Eagles Pass 20M
As expected, bullion Silver Eagles crossed the 20 million milestone in annual sales and the fresh 2010-P Yosemite National Park Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin started with a bang. The new release also helped the sales of other numismatic products, as many outperformed their previous increases. 61 of them rose above their prior week’s sales compared to 21, according to the latest US Mint sales figures.
The Yosemite National Park Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin that launched on Thursday, June 9, flew off US Mint shelves. After four days on the market and a one per household limit, a total of 20,511 were picked up by collectors. That left 6,489 Yosemite coins in inventory, since the US Mint only struck 27,000.(…)
